It’s 2018 and Capricorn Takes the Spotlight

The Capricorn moon will be the reincarnation of Spirit emerging from the dark waters of our past emotions and releasing us from our fear of change and our fear of loss. Awaken your powerful and positive spiritual connection to be open to new possibilities. Ask yourself to release your emotional loyalty to the past. We are reminded of our need for material and emotional security at this time. In order to ensure this, we must learn to build a foundation for ourselves that is lit from within, made from the materials of love, goodwill, and intelligence.

When first contemplating 2018, I saw a vision of DNA strands circling in bright lights. The lights contained all the all numbers and planets within the boundaries of the DNA geometry. It was quite a sight and has become the inspiration for the Year 2018, the Year of Illumination.

In Tibetan Numerology, 2018 is an 11 year. When we reach the number 11, the Universe makes a cycle of completion and gateways open to a space of wonder. When something is complete it reaches a level of perfection. We all receive a recalibration of refinement and illumination that holds space in eternity. It is something quite wonderful when all is included and nothing is left out. The challenges in numerology become blessings under the umbrella of eleven. This allows for all that has been created to be renewed in the space of eternity and infinity, illuminated in its vastness. We must accept the embrace of this enhanced height and width by opening to all the surprises that will come forth and be presented to us. Spend time this year holding your arms out wide as a symbol of capturing assigned and un-assigned fields of energy. This establishes pathways flowing to you so the fulfillment of the year’s promise can be yours.

After the first day of 2018 we begin the year without any retrogrades and move forward without planetary resistance until March. In other words we have left our romantic/emotional attachment to the past behind in 2017. The opening act of the full moon on day one did a clean sweep, making sure we entered this year squeaky clean.

We then moved into home base with Saturn returning to Capricorn after a 27-year journey, joining the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto. This set a structural baseline for the year, setting the stage for success and accomplishment. We must remember it is Capricorn that asks us to be useful, or to be used. Let’s look at the planets and see the structural support available to us to do so. We see the Sun there as the director shining the light motivating self-fulfillment. We have Mercury providing the words or language to produce the results required. Then Venus opens the creative process to be applied under the umbrella of practicality, a rare moment in time for Venus. Last, but not least, Pluto will manifest it for you when you get survival out of the question and simply go for the gusto. It is your ability to respond that leads you up the mountain top, all the tools are available to Go—Go—Go NOW.

Cosmic Check-In: Saturn in Capricorn

Cosmic Check-In: Saturn in Capricorn

As we round the bend toward 2018, it is time to become aware of a major game-changer energy that we will be living with during 2018. After a three-year stay, Saturn is moving out of Sagittarius, which had a flattening effect on adventure and inspiration. It is good to note that Saturn is the Karmic Technician in the zodiac, working diligently to keep us in the logical world by constantly reporting to us what’s wrong, not what’s right. This has been very a difficult experience—having the “flat iron” of Saturn flattening all the wrinkles out of any optimism, resulting in a defeatism attitude that seems to have penetrated race consciousness, into vast and extreme exhaustion.

Hold on to your hats—the good news that on December 19th Saturn moved into Capricorn and at long last he is home, after 27 years!  For the last few weeks Saturn has been void and living under the Galactic Gateway along with Mercury Retrograde, leaving us with zero grounding to hold such chaos. So Mercury is out of retrograde now and Saturn is home at last! Let’s let the dust settle and recalibrate into the new version of “Self”, so life can now catch up with itself and become new. Remember Saturn leaves us with a choice around responsibility and self-fulfillment. Remember if you are blaming outside yourself, you are avoiding responsibility and fulfillment can’t be realized. Saturn is the leader of the patrilocal aspect of life and all that is changing.
Resistance is exhausting and now that Saturn is home, an alignment is possible in government and world systems. I would expect a coming together in the long haul. The United States is astrologically a Cancer and opposite Capricorn, meaning that the two aspects are on different ends of the same baton. This pairing promotes the underbelly of Cancer to merge with the shadow aspects supported by Capricorn. I am holding the space for this long-awaited union to present us with an integration on many levels. Freedom comes to those who accept responsibility and remove blame from their experience. I am ready to be fulfilled

Holiday Gift Guide

Holiday Gift Guide

Holiday Gift GuideThe entire holiday season is a symbolic ritual that allows us to align with the natural cycles of fullness and the natural cycles of releasing so that we can become void, empty and open to receive the new cycle of manifestation in the Spring. The process of gift giving and gift receiving provides us with the perfect symbolic background for connecting to the cycles of manifestation that nature demonstrates to us during this most powerful time.

You Are the Gift!

The giving part of the equation is the acknowledgement of your abundance. In the truest sense, giving is the release of stored energy (i.e. abundance). This release of stored abundance allows you to become void and gives space for new life to be birthed in the Spring, just as nature drops its leaves and these leaves become the mulch for the new sprouts to germinate in the Spring.

To effectively commence the cycle of giving, you must buy yourself the first gift. This will make buying for others more effective and save you a lot of money. Remember, there is a difference between a gift and a present. A present is something you want someone to have, a gift is something you know the receiver wants to receive.

You are the Receiver!

The symbology of receiving is very important, for without it the cycle cannot be complete. Unfortunately, our culture has ignored this part of the equation by promoting an axiom that is not true, “it is better to give than to receive.” When receiving a gift, you are given the privilege to see the power of your magnetic field that is symbolic of the manifested results of your year´s experience. Your ability to receive sets up a manifesting field for the New Event structure in the NEW CYCLE! I am reminded of my teacher Barbra Dillenger´s most powerful words:
“You are the Gift, the Beginning of the Cycle
You are the giver, the Completion of the Cycle
You are the Receiver, the Result of the Cycle.”

Recalibrating fear using the Buddhist teaching of impermanence

Recalibrating fear using the Buddhist teaching of impermanence

The underbelly of every fear is our fear of death.Buddha and the Moon

Perfectionism is Death…
Impermanence is Life…

Perfectionism stops life. When we are into perfectionism, we want everything to be the same. We want to freeze frame an experience we thought was perfect, stop time, and stay there. Oftentimes perfectionism keeps us from attempting any kind of action. “If I can’t be the best, I won’t even try.” “If I don’t look good, I won’t go anywhere.“ “If I can’t be the boss, I don’t want the job.” etc… etc… etc… Perfectionism leads to defeatism and keeps us stuck in fear of disapproval by a standard of perceived excellence. We then spend hours of our precious time here on Earth managing an image of life rather than living life.

If you find yourself reading this it is important for you to see where perfectionism is freeze framing you from living life. Take a moment to see where you might be living by someone else’s standard and not being true to yourself. Remember, narcissism is caring what other people think and leaves little room for self development. Life is the continuum of impermanent event structures providing experiences for us to evolve through action, change, development and refinement. The standard is provided for you and set by this galaxy, the galaxy of adaptation. Under this umbrella, we come to know that life is always changing. When we keep our polarities moving along with the movement of the galaxy, we will come to know truth as beauty and motion as harmony.

Recalibration on the full moons, what it means

Recalibration on the full moons, what it means

moon-graphicOn the Full Moon we have an opportunity to let go and set ourselves free from parts of our life that are not working. We are now living in a quantum reality where past and future are no longer a reality. So with this in mind I have come up with the word for letting go in this new dimension, this word is re-calibration. Re-calibration takes the idea of letting go into the past and future, as well as other dimensions where stuckness still occurs.

For example, you want great wealth so you might want to re-calibrate any blocks to achieving great wealth. In so doing the concept of recalibration will eliminate any past dimensions where one might have taken a vow of poverty.

Re-calibration asks us to expand, supersede, and include so that the block can no longer be a block. It also allows transformation to happen without death, which is huge because because that eliminates fear where change is happening.
